UM Motorcycles revealed the Renegade Sport S Cruiser bike at the 2015 EICMA Motorcycle show in Italy. The all new 290 cc cruiser will be officially launched at the Auto Expo 2016.

UM Motorcycles joins Lohia Auto for its Indian Venture who showcased the Renegade Sport S Cruiser at the 2015 EICMA. This cruiser is the 1st ever offering by UM Motors in India. The styling of the motorcycle has been inspired from large cruiser bikes and the Renegade S that was showcased sported stealth black paint job with contrasting orange accents.

The new Renegade Sport S cruiser is powered by a 279cc, water-cooled, single-cylinder fuel-injected motor churning out 26.6PS at 8,600 rpm and 22.76Nm at 6,300 rpm. The powerplant is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and according to UM Motorcycles officials the cruiser can accelerate to 60kmph in just 2 seconds. It will also feature a USB charger next to the instrument console which will allow the rider to use GPS of his phone without worrying about draining the battery. It is expected to be priced around Rs 1.7 lakh (ex-showroom).

TATA to Launch its Compact SUV by the End of 2016! Stay tuned with AutoCater to catch up on exciting news and updates.

TATA is all set to launch its Compact SUV in 2016. The Nexon is expected to be showcased in the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo. Its concept was 1st showcased back in 2014 and looks to target the Ford Ecosport & Mahindra TUV 300 among others. This upcoming SUV may look a bit like the Evoque as it will take a few design cues to look aggressive with a premium look.

The choice of engines on the Tata Nexon will include a new 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder, turbocharged petrol and a 1.3-litre Multijet diesel. Transmission options will comprise a 5-speed manual and the F-Tronic AMT on the diesel, if at all. TATA has also been working on a new 1.5-litre diesel engine, however it seems unlikely that it will be offered on the Tata Nexon.

Ducati’s Most Affordable Bike in India is right here.

Ducati has announced the launch of the Scrambler Sixty2 claiming it to its most affordable bike in India. According to Ducati, the Sixty2 draws inspiration from youth street culture, skateboards, street food, pop music and the year 1962, which is when the very first Ducati Scrambler was launched. The name, therefore, is a tribute to an important year of the Ducati Scrambler motorcycle history.

The Sixty2 is half of the regular Scrambler’s 803cc. Getting to the looks, the Sixty2 gets a steel trellis frame and this makes it look similar to the Scrambler. The 41mm Showa fork is not inverted, while Kayaba rear shock is adjustable for preload. Both the suspension components offer 5.9 inches of wheel travel which is similar to that on the Scrambler.

Lamborghini to Launch Tractors in India!

Lamborghini Tractors will be launched on the 12th Dec in Pune. After bringin in some super hot and gorgeous cars they have even decided to get the tractors business in India. ‘They definitely see some potential there.’ They were first launched back in the 1950’s and have a long history.

 

The existing brands for tractors in India are Mahindra, Tata and Ashok Leyland and with the introduction of Lamborghini tractors, it will surely bring in a fresh prospective for the Indian farmers. These Lamborghini tractors will be manufactured at the SDF group’s manufacturing facility in Ranipet, which is also the global production hub for many renowned tractor models of the SDF group.
