The New Baleno under Nexa launched at 4.99 Lacs.


The new Maruti Suzuki Baleno is all set to compete with the Hyuunda i20, Volkswagen Polo and Honda Jazz. It has been launched at Rs 4.99 lacs (Ex Showroom Delhi) It is Maruti’s second offering after the S Cross under the Nexa Brand.


It measures 3995mm in length, 1745mm in width and is 1470mm tall, improving on the Swift’s length and width of 3,850mm and 1,695mm respectively. The engine options though on the Baleno are identical to the Swift. Its petrol variants are powered by the 83bhp 1.2-litre K12 mill, while the diesel trims comes with the tried-and-tested Fiat-sourced 74bhp 1.3 DDiS diesel motor. Both engines come mated to w five-speed gearboxes, though the petrol Baleno can additionally be had in an automatic variant with a CVT transmission.

Hyundai Creta gets more expensive. Here is why.


The Hyundai Creta gets pricier. When this was launched Hyundai were skeptical about its success due to the price it was launched at. After looking at its average monthly sales of around 7000 units, proved them wrong. It is an amazingly successful car in its segment. The Creta has an almost 6 months waiting period with about 50000 pending orders.


The price has gone up to INR 20000 with the sole reason being to increase its profit margin. The Creta’s base model was launched at INR 8,59,558, now costs INR 8,69,461 making it around INR 10000 more expensive. The top model diesel variant was launched at INR 13,57,770 now costs INR 13,77,771 (Ex Showroom Delhi) making it around INR 20000 more expensive.

Mahindra’s Mojo goes on Sale this Month!


MAhindra will be launching the Mojo on the 16th October. It was the year 2011 when Mahindra Two Wheelers showcased their bike with the Pantero and the Centuro.  The company has gone through a lot of hurdles and although a little late in entering the sports mike market. Mojo is the company’s 1st entrant and therefore means a lot for Mahindra to nail the sports bike market.


Mahindra has started taking pre-orders for the Mojo. If you are really keen on getting it, you can certainly have it ordered it now. Mojo features a digital speedometer with an analogue tachometre with a shift light and low fuel warning indicators. Mojo is powered with a four stroke, liquid cooled, single cylinder that oozes out a maximum power output of 27 BHP & 25 NM.


The Bike will compete with the KTM Duke 200 and 390 and the Honda CBR250R and even the Bajaj AS200. Mojo will have itself priced at 1.5 lakhs.

Suzuki’s new compact crossover The Ignis.


Suzuki has now revealed its iM4 concept, claiming it to still be a concept. This compact crossover has been described as a car that can handle the space between daily life and leisure. There are a few notable changes to that we saw in the concept such as headlamps which are integrated with DRL’s, the side mirrors shape and bumpers have been tweeked a bit.

The Ignis has a decent ground clearance and could come with a 4×4 system which is definitely going to be optional.  Under the hood Suzuki might think about getting a 1 litre turbocharged booster jet engine and a 1.2 litre which will use the SHVS mild hybrid system. The interiors look futuristic with a tablet styled display the infotainment system, which also features a 2 tone dashboard and an automatic gear box.


We could just wait to get some more detailed information/ specs for the Ignis. This will be a great competitor in the market and can’t wait to cater you with the prices.
